Description: Bobby Byrne's or "Bobby's" to the locals is located on the corner of O'Connell Avenue and Wolfe Tone Street in the heart of Limerick City. Established since 1963 we are steeped in tradition and full of character, and delighted to have celebrated 50 Years in business in 2013. Quaint and cosy with our open fire, slate floor and homely atmosphere our popularity is understandable. TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC EVERY TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY NIGHTS 7pm - 9.45pm So if you enjoy some mouth watering home cooking, listening to some live traditional music, if your visiting family or friends or you simply want to enjoy the perfect pint, then why not pop in and savour the atmosphere. We offer a wide range of coffees, beer and our extensive menus begin at 8.30Am until 8.30Pm. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week we cater for all food lovers. But by night when the lights are turned down, Bobby Byrne's has a private room which can turn into a great party venue. We can cater for groups from 20 to 120 with options of finger food to succulent bbq's.

If you want a nice friendly atmosphere, whether for a drink, nice meal or just a cup of tea!! Bobby's is the place to be. Staff and customers alike are welcoming. It is a family run pub and you can just sense that nice home from home feeling. I've enjoyed many a nice evening in Bobbys sometime for a meal sometimes just for a nice chat. the food is very reasonable and excellent quality, catering for all needs. I'd highly recommend Bobby's pub.

Just had a lovely meal in Bobby Byrnes bar. A groupe of us used to go somewhere different every Friday night untill we discovered Bobbys. We are now hooked. Nowhere in the City could beat it. The food is top class but its the staff and atmosphere that makes it. Even when its quiet there is a welcoming atmosphere. We now look forward to our Friday nights . A big thanks to the bar manager Declan who is always so attentive to us. Nora Hayes.

This is a family run bar restaurant serving excellent homemade (E.g your salad will be dressed with dressing made in the house, own deserts) food and at excellent value. I've been a few times over the past year or so- mostly on busy Friday evenings with friends. On each occasion- fish pie; steak; Thai curry; pasta bake; smoked salmon salad I've been well pleased :).
The service is friendly, efficient and I would happily recommend to tourist, visitor, local, family or group alike. If you are planning to eat there I would recommend ringing ahead to reserve a table.
