Customer service training is a must!!! Rude bar staff, being told to wait an hour on a coffee as it's a bar not a cafe, also being selective on cash back with card payments because they couldn't be bothered.

Lunch food was awful, however breakfast was fantastic.

This hotel is a party hotel for stags and hens definitely not for families.

Recently stayed at the Kilford Arms and the rate was very reasonable for two people. The room was pleasantly decorated but the bathroom was a bit worse for wear with mould in between the tiles and large floor to ceiling cracks on the tiles also.

I genuinely didnt take much notice of the bathroom until the morning after and wouldn't let it deter me from staying again.

The hotel was very centrally located within walking distance of everything Kilkenny has to offer.

Hotel staff were very pleasant at check in. When we returned to the hotel after a night out, the main entrance was locked up and a note to use the doors for the adjoining bars. It took knocking at a few of the many doors before we got in. It would have been helpful to have this outlined to us when we checked in that the reception would close at a specific time.

Other than that, a lovely stay overall.

Arrived at reception, met by Shane very friendly & helpful person. The room was very adequate & clean. The option to make tea or coffee was a lovely surprise. Plenty of bars & the atmosphere was relaxing.I met many friends over the couple of days. The food & service that I had was excellent, with a lovely warm atmosphere.

Great hotel like a Tardis inside. Bar open early doors until the wee small hours. Rooms well equipped and comfortable. Smart bar and nightclub, residents bar. Great value for money plenty for breakfast usual cereal, fry up and fruit. Breakfast room like a set out of Games of Thrones.
