just stayed at the kilford arms hotel on a value for money voucher
Kilford hotel is situated in the city centre of kilkenny ideal for sight seeing , shopping and general walking about. We had free city centre car parking which was a great bonus
the hotel itself was clean, friendly and food excellent
we were very happy with our stay other hotels could learn how the kilford can keep their standards and still be friendly and value for money
we will be recommending to friends and will definitely be back to beautiful Kilkenny

Room Tip: City centre car parking a treat

For the price me and my girlfriend could stay for I have no complaints. Can be a bit noisy but thats going to be the case when there is a nightclub and bar on site. Rooms were fine and the breakfast which was included both mornings was lovely. Great location wise too, if you want to be near to everything.

while travelling trhough Ireland my last stop Kilkenny , what a beautiful city by far nicest in Ireland
This view was helped by our lovely stay at the Kilford Arms Hotel, a great friendly professional run hotel right in the middle of beautiful Kilkenny city, walking distance to everything.
We had a range of prices of accomm all through our trip but the Kilford was by far the cheapest and best value for money. The food was basic Irish food but cooked excellently. Rooms were so clean and equipped with all modern facilities. All in all a great stay thanks again to all staff you are so friendly and helpful

Room Tip: Make sure you try their Irish Breakfast - you wont be hungry for rest of day

We stayed in this very centrally located hotel last weekend. The reception was new and airy, staff very friendly and helpful. We were given a room which had 3 beds, so very spacious for two.
Our deal included a two course meal, so we decided to avail of the 4 course and bottle of wine and paid the extra. Food was fine, and service good. While the room was basic, the bathroom was spotless and we were also provided with a litre of still and sparkling water ( a nice touch). We would recommend it for the convenience to bars and restaurants.

Room Tip: As all rooms are on the one level, it is not easy to recommend one special location.

This hotel is super creepy! It's run down and everything in the rooms is broken. When one person in our group reported that her shower was broken, the guy at the reception said 'I know, you'll have to make do.' Wifi never worked and the food was bad. The location is great however, and I loved the bar and restaurant staff!

What can I say - My wife and I are satisfied customers and will return. Good food, two bars, friendly staff. Midweek was quiet but still plenty happening. Only a few minutes walk to the centre of the city. Plenty to do, you could never run out of options. For the first time ever my car stayed in the car park for the duration of the visit as there was no need to use it whatsoever. Nothing negative, it was a positive experience.

Located centrally with it only being a 10 minute walk to Kilkenny Castle .
No shortage of Pubs and restaurants in the vicinity to please .
The hotel itself is handy got to with it's own private carpark to the rear.
