Had my 30th birthday here the weekend just gone, best weekend ever! The staff are really friendly and helped arrange a group booking for me and about 20 of my friends, and were very accommodating on any last minute changes which was nice.

The two bars are great, one modern type bar, the other older style (resident's bar). Particularly enjoyed the football on the big screen on the Sunday. Bar food was nice too. Rooms were perfect and was great that we were all booked into rooms close to each other.

The hotel is right in the middle of town and near everything. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, will definitely be visiting again! Thanks for having us and thanks to all the staff for making it such a great weekend, Matt

I stayed in the Kilford Arms Hotel for my friends 30th. There were 20 of us in total staying - the staff were so helpful and very patient with all my calls/emails in relation to booking so many of us in. We were welcomed by the lovely Louise who explained where everything was and what the hotel had to offer. The rooms were really big, the hotel was spotless, room service/cleaning in the morning - fresh sheets, towels etc. The hotel has a bar, lounge, nightclub and pool tables. The residence bar stays open really late and you get free entry to the club. The food was great in the bar/lounge and brekkie was really delicious. The breakfast room is fab! Location = fantastic! This was my first time in this hotel but my 5th trip to Kilkenny and from now on I'll always choose the Kilford Arms. Massive thanks to all the staff especially those on reception.

My friends and myself got a great deal for this hotel for bed, breakfast and evening meal. The hotel is central, has a nice bar and the staff were so friendly and so helpful. The rooms (we have stayed here quite a few times) have always been really nice, lots of space, good shower, lots of storage space and not too far from the shops, bars and great night life in Kilkenny. Recommended for a girls night away that wont break the bank. We will be going back soon :)

Good value stay on deal voucher. Rooms reasonably sized but a little dated. Facilities and decor of the rest of the hotel are impressive, built around the ruins of an old church. Good location and ample free parking. Dinner menu mediocre. Good breakfast. Best asset of the hotel, it's staff, could not be more helpful.
