Saw a sign from the street voted best coffee in Kilkenny so said we'd try it. Great coffee, 18th century house which is pretty cool. Girlfriend had the roasted Mediterranean soup with fennel, delicious. But the 2 lads there are great hosts, brought the coffees down and opened with a joke. Wish them all the best....

Found this place when on a tour of the Medieval city. Returned for coffee and it was heaven, strong and rich. A good cuppa. Also had the homemade App,l Crisp and a Scone with jam. Yummy. Cool little sitting area for soaking up some history and a feeling that we'd just popped into someone's home for coffee. Not a place for a large group unless its for the Hole in the Wall bar upstairr. Love to find these little treasures on our travels.

Being originally from Kilkenny I was delighted to see this place open up. It's a great opportunity to hang out in one of the city's historic buildings and have some of the best coffee I've ever tasted (though I'm definitely not a connoisseur). Love the chilled out vibe, awesome lemonade and tasty baked treats too. Haven't tried their sandwiches or soups, but am looking forward to it on my next trip up home.

Blink and youll miss iot and your trip to Kilkeeny will be all the poorer for it. The only Bar I've ever been to where the owner hands you percussion instrament to join ion with the band.

This tiny piece of history is a great place to stop, hide, drink a tea or coffee and eat fab homemade cake!! It advertises itself as 'the best coffee in KK' and as coffee connoisseur I can say hand on heart that it's true. The staff are amazing, really friendly, go out of their way to help you in any way they can. The setting is amazing, the oldest town house in Ireland, and very much as it was hundreds of years ago, untouched and unspoiled. A visit to Kilkenny cannot be complete without going to 'The Hole in the Wall'.
