Ate there twice during a two-day visit to Kilkenny, which I think says a lot! The staff is friendly, the food is good and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming.

Had great evening at Lanigans Bar in Killkenny last weekend. Great place with lots of history and bar has been lovingly restored by owners, a delightful brother and sister team PJ and Kiera. Learned about history of hurling which seems to be the local game of choice. Great pub food and great place to spend an evening. If you are an American traveling to Ireland stop in Kilkenny and if you have time for one pub....make it this one!

Great guys, big pub and a good atmosphere. Will take a star off because the back doors have smashed glass. One of the lads cut his hand when he opened it. Besides that though, was grand. Very easy going

Grabbed a meal on a Saturday prior to leaving Kilkenny. Hamburger sandwich was not palatable -- meat texture was grainy and unpleasant. Atmosphere is fun and in the midst of Kilkenny action. Bar was super packed with Rugby match and the service staff was stretched to breaking point. Would not recommend!
