“quirky but lovely”
Reviewed February 8, 2012

this is so girly, from the ribbons for sale at the entrance to the books and knick nacks on every available surface. Have eaten dinner here a couple of times and it was good. however it is one of my favourite locations for coffee and something, early and often.

“A little gem of a place”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

I went for lunch with a couple of friends and fell in love with this place. It was very busy at around 2.30 in the afternoon which is always a good sign. We had to wait just a few minutes for a table. The menu is lovely with a good choice of bagels, sandwiches and many other lovely things like Cottage pie, Crab cake, Lasagne, Fajitas, Fish & Chips and much more. I went for one of the specials which was Baked Salmon on mashed potatoes with roasted vegetables. I ate every bite. It was simple but tasty. One of the girls went for the crab cake also served with roasted vegetables and Mocha fries which are big, chunky, homemade fries. She said it was delicious. And my other friend went for the Cottage pie served with the fries. The portions are a nice size, not too big. Our plates were empty but we didn't feel absolutely stuffed. As well as the food what I really loved were all the things for sale - gorgeous mugs, teapots, coffee pots, aprons etc not to mention their extensive selection of individual chocolates and boxes of chocolates. It is definitely somwhere where you could buy a lovely gift for someone.

The staff were lovely and in general we had a really pleasant time. I will definitely return.

“The Mocha Fries are Amazing!”
Reviewed November 22, 2011

Anytime we visit from Waterford we always go here. The bagels, sambo's and wraps are top notch, but the main reason we go here is the fries. Homemade huge chips are just absolutely gorgeous, and the staff have always been really friendly every time. If only they set up a place in Waterford :(

“Fab place, great food and amazing dessert choices”
Reviewed October 3, 2011

found this coffee shop by accident, by asking a local, it was a great recommendation. The food was excellent: sandwiches and wraps all freshly made, 3/4 daily specials for lunch, but the desserts and goodies were so good. It would actually be worth looking at the choices before making a decision, so many chocolate and one-off sweets and desserts.
Great coffee and on a wet saturday afternoon, the place was packed, buzzing with people of all ages.
I would definitely recommend Cafe Mocha - very friendly and efficient staff - there is a very extensive menu and also a separate Gluten Free menu including desserts :)
