“Wild Rover Tours trip to Kilkenny and Glendalough”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2011

We spent a while visiting Kilkenny Castle and joined a tourguide showing tourists around the Castle and giving us information on the Butler family who once owned it. We had a nice meal in the Castle Restaurant. Afterwards, visited the Kilkenny Design Centre and purchased a few souvenirs to take home with us. Later, we visited the very nice shops and boutiques around the city and got some very good bargains in the sales.

Finally, we did a tour of Glendalough and viewed the ancient monuments including St Kevin's Church. The weather was ideal for a change and the whole day was extremely pleasant.
