We stayed in the Newpark,my fiance and I for a relaxing weekend break...The hotel itself, reception, restaurant etc is lovely and the staff couldn't have been nicer but the room was a huge dissapointment,it was clean but looked tatty and dated...not the rooms pictured on the brochure and not i expected for 4 star ,and contrary to the other reviews i found the room to be cold, not freezeing but it could have been warmer, the food in the restaurant was delicious and again the waiters and waitresses were very nice, the noise in the corridors at night was also a problem, could hear people talking and doors slamming till 6.30 in the morning. Its a lovely hotel and i would stay there again but i would be sure to ask for one of the newer rooms as i felt it wasn't up to scratch.
