Kyteler's Inn is a great place to go for a modest, reasonably -priced meal. After the meal, we enjoyed some Irish music and dancing. We were happy that this entertainment was early in the evening.

“Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Had lunch in this restaurant full of character and ambiance. Food was very solid. Traditional Irish. Only downside was the choice of music.

“Kilkenny's Oldest and Best”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

OK, so it's a tourist haunt, but it's still a lot of fun. In addition to us Americans, the nights we were there we saw people from Canada, Australia, Norway, France ... you get the drift. This is a classic (and very old) pub with a fascinating history involving a witch. The food is excellent. We had steaks one night and great soup for lunch. There is nightly Irish music in the bar as well as some form of entertainment in the restaurant area in the early evening. A fun experience.

“Best Irish music”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

One of the oldest pubs in Ireland, well preserved for it's years. Good pub food, but the music is what set Kyteler's apart on our visit. Top notch talent on the banjo, guitar and bodhran, wide repertoire of traditional Irish tunes.
