A day at the races, the curragh racecourse has everything you can ask for, except the crowds! We had great tapas food, and champagne for lunch all very reasonable. Burger and chips style food was also available, our usual type of food, but this was a special birthday outing. Bars were all nice, plenty seating available and a good choice of food and drink outlets. It's always fun watching the horses and having a flutter. Our only surprise was the lack of people, it was pretty quite, which suited us, but may not suit everyone.

recently attended on trip home to Ireland. rude service, indoor food area was filled with food and dirt on floor, very poor standard! no seating areas that were clean! bar staff were slow and rude and seemed to only respond to whoever shouted the loudest to them. have attended much better courses rates as worst.

Have been visiting the racecourse for some years now and must say how much the standard of food and service has improved. You can now book a lunch with admission ticket and a reserved table for only €29 per person. Compared to other entertainments and racecourses thats great value for money, let a lone the fact that the Curragh hosts all of Ireland's major thoroughbred races and is considered to be Ireland's premier racecourse.
Well worth a visit to any race meeting.
