This has to be the top hotel in Tralee for your wedding reception.
Stunning views of Kerry mountains and Tralee bay.
Management and staff are fab no stone left unturned to make your stay a time to remember. Food is excellent, rooms are well finished and very clean.
Breakfast is cooked fresh not one of these buffet self service.

Our original hotel had overbooked so asked if we could stay at Ballyroe Heights for a night. On arrival it looked nice, the reception looked lovely, decor was nice and staff were lovely. Our room was not ready so we went into bar for a bite to eat. Food was nice and a good selection of food on menu. After 30mins our room was ready, the first thing I noticed was the bad smell, it was a smell of must and cigarette smoke and a not so clean smell. Room was average size, furniture was so outdated and was falling apart. Bed was small for a double but comfortable. Our room was in the old part of hotel, room 38. There was a wedding on the same night and the guests were very loud. The neighbours bed was very squeaky and as the walls were so thin we heard everything. The guests coming back from the wedding reception were so loud and banging doors and having various parties that we managed no sleep at all. Breakfast was ok, usual cereal, fruit and Irish fry up. If you are heading out into town its around €10 for a taxi each way. I wouldn't be rushing back to this hotel.

Attended a wedding reception and stayed one night at hotel. Everything was perfect! Beautiful location - great views. Room was absolutely perfect and clean. Seemed to be recently renovated (bathroom was immaculate). Check in and out was a breeze.

We held our wedding in Ballyroe in early May 2011. We held the service downstairs followed by a meal in the Summit restaurant and the evening reception in the main ballroom. The whole occasion went brilliantly. The setting of this hotel and the fabulous views it allows over Tralee only added to the enjoyment. We had 95 guests sit down to a 5 course meal and everyone I spoke to afterwards agreed it was one of the best meals they have had.
We had over 80 guests staying in the hotel over a period of 3 days and I stayed there myself 2 of those nights. The rooms are all modern and certainly more a 4 or 5 * standard. Everyone had a most enjoyable stay.
The management and staff were absolutely superb and I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel whether it is for a night away or a relaxing break.
Anyone thinking of booking a function should book this hotel as I certainly will for future family occasions.
I travel extensively in my job and this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We were on our way to a wedding in Ardfert coming from Maynooth and stopped off at Ballyroe to see if we could use their bathroom to change for the wedding. The manager very kindly let us (three couples) change in one of their suites . Unfortunately we could only order coffee as the kitchen was not open until 12.30 and we were there just before 12. We would have been very happy to order 6 lunches but perhaps another time.
Thanks very much for the hospitality.

We recently attended a wedding at this hotel and were pleasantly suprised. On arrival we recieved a warm welcome from a very friendly front desk.Good buzz in the bar and the wedding room was nicely decorated. Food very good, we also ate lunch on the Sunday and it was tasty. Some of the Guests had issues with the heating on the ground floor. It seemed like only the upper floors had heat, which I personally found very warm.Management provided heaters which helped.
I Would recomend this hotel.
