“Best for Brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

On Trip Advisor's recommendation (it is No. 1 for brunch etc) I had light lunch here of seafood chowder which was delicious. Old-fashioned but attractive decor and cosy atmosphere.

“Tea rooms at its finest”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2013

Mary' Anne's tea room on Denny street is a find! Great atmosphere with quaint 20's style and fabulous food! there is a broad menu with daily specials and a magnificent display of cakes that always catches my attention. I have been to other tea rooms but this is certainly the best, with the personal touch from the owner and the attentive staff. You must go and try the lemon drizzle cake!

“Quaint and charming old world feel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

Love this place! Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere. Lovely Georgian building in a great location. They have music playing in the background that makes you feel like you're back in the 1920's.. Big open fires in both rooms which add to the cosy atmosphere. Great selection on the menu(they do specials also some days). Fabulous cakes that are to die for! Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it & the owner always makes you feel welcome..

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

I was i for a little Coffeebreak and i loved it so much.
The Lady who was the Owner was verry nice and friendly, and the Food was brilliant.
It was my best Coffeebreak ever, the Cakes and the Food was the best what i have ever eaten.
I will definitely return.

“So disappointing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

I was so looking forward to this experience with my elderly mum. While the staff were welcoming , the lady who I later found out to be the owner was damn right rude. The cutlery was stained and she almost sneered at my mother and I for pointing this out. From start to finish it was a disaster- my advice Stay Away...or at least keep the owner out
