Fabulous hotel unique style would highly recommend,
Set in a quiet area yet not far from Tralee town, a taxi to centre approx 6euro. or a fifteen/twenty minute walk, Out of Hotel left to church at bottom turn riight, small supermarket five mins away from hotel.
The accommodation is set on three floors including ground and there is a lift , parts of the hotel date back 100years , and have been added to, with traditional style furnishings.
There is a sectioned garden area which is very pleasant with seating .The hotel is family run and the staff are all wonderful from the Owners to reception, bar staff and Restaurants everyone cannot do enough to help best hospitality ever:}
There are small libraries and reading rooms full of Character tucked away in quiet areas for relaxation.
The bar has a great atmosphere and used by many locals... the Pub grub is delicious..Restaurant food is to a good standard and breakfast is open buffett..
Loved my stay Thanks to each and every member of staff xxx would definatly stay again..... shhhh should be Tralee,s best kept secret !

Room Tip: If you have walking difficulties can request a ground floor room,

We went to Tralee recently for a break with our grandkids and stayed here. We booked a family room and were delighted to be given a really spacious and cosy room. Instead of a single and pull-out that we normally get, the kids were really happy to have a single bed each.
Breakfast each morning was great - lots of varieties so everyone was happy. We didn't have dinners at the hotel, but I would expect them to be up to the same high standard as breakfast.
The reception and restaurant staff were all so helpful and friendly. Even with two energetic and lively kids with us, we felt very welcome and relaxed.
We usually stay at another hotel when we visit Tralee, but next time we will definitely be looking to book here.

Stayed here on a work trip a few weeks ago. Since I have been back to Ireland to Cork, Shannon and Dublin and not one of the other hotels come close to this one. At each hotel we used the function room for training to about 60 plus people each day. At the meadowland the attention to detail was fantastic and the staff here did everything to make sure the day ran smooth. The room I stayed in was very large and very clean the on-suite with Whirl pool bath separate shower and two sinks was a nice to have to unwind after a long day. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar area with it own menu. I choose to just eat in the bar both nights. One night had the steak which was so nice I had to put it as my Facebook status as it was the best steak I have ever had. The seconded night I had the seafood platter as I was told the owner of the hotel was also a fisherman. This was very clear when you tasted the quality and freshness of the fish. Nice people, amazing food great hotel. Would with out a doubt stay here with the family. P,s thanks for the loafs of soda bread the wife loved it as much as I did.
