This is such an unspoilt beach. Remote, beautiful sand. Often windy but this just adds to its attraction. On Sundays you can see people riding horses on the beach - a wonderful sight.

Gorgeous beach and well worth a visit. Lots of shells and sand dunes to keep the kids happy. Very uncommercial so no shops or restaurants along beach. Great for good surf

Have been looking forward to visiting this beach after having heard so much from the locals. Fortunately the weather was good and we could see miles of clear blue skies. You could see many taking walks around here and I’m sure the sea would have been full of people if it was warmer.

We visited here on a windy day, but there was people in the sea, brrrrr. Normally there are ice cream vans and in the Summer, lifeguards. Not a lot of parking for an incredible sandy wide beach. Wished I could go in the summer when the weather was better.

Came here on Sunday afternoon to clear the cobwebs. It was a grey and windy day with high waves - and it was just perfect.
Looking out over the dingle peninsula and walking on the most beautiful sandy beach - there really is nothing better.

Banna Strand is a beautiful, clean beach just about 5 miles from Tralee town. To my knowledge - there have been no reports of dangerous-lurkings there. Often - there are ice-cream trucks & other snack vendors around. There's a rest-room within a short distance and plenty of space to park. It's a beautiful beach that you should not miss if you are in the area. HMoD.

Expansive white sands, mountains, fantastic skies, peace and quiet - what more needs saying? (free parking too!)

It's an Irish beach so swimming is likely only for the summer months but it is stunningly beautiful, it's wild and savage but different every day you visit. The beach is really a reflection of the area and the people.
