There is quite a large exhibition - we only had enough time to visit the Tom Crean exhibition. We had just seen a Tom Crean play a few days before, in Dublin. It was very informative. The staff are very friendly.

Very interesting even for our two young Boy's who were given clipboards with clues to answer some questions which was great for keeping them interested in each section of this excellent travel through time display.

For somewhere different to spend a few hours! The museum in Tralee is a great value few hours. Kids were free,€5 for adults, Three floors of interesting, interactive, informative exhibits. With an archaeology dig for kids, costumes to try on, photo opportunities, narrative and video displays, this is a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. The basement display of Medieval tralee is brilliant.
Kids have been back 3 or 4 times, which for a museum, is unheard of.

Well done all involved!

The Museum has the immense ability to attract people of different age groups and yet engage them. The proof of it was that one hand we had senior citizens absorbed in the exhibits and a group of school kids running around with quiz sheets eager to know more. The Museum is housed in a beautiful building with an imposing elevation. Would have loved to see some signage about wheelchair access from the entrance ... had a hard time hauling up a buggy up the stairs. Beyond that, the staff were very friendly.
