Stayed at the Brook Mnaor Lodge recently with my wife and two boys. It was towards the end of a 2 week trip in Ireland. This property was a welcome respite during a long trip. Sandra and Jerome Lordan take wonderful care of this B&B. The family room was spacious, well appointed, and beautiful. Parking is free.Breakfast the following morning was excellent. Everything from a full Irish to continental breakfast was availabe. Internet access available for adult use in a wonderful reading room complete with menu's from local restaurants. Even with the depressed dollar compared to the euro, the prices were very reasonalbe. Tralee is located near both the Dingle Peninsula as well as the Ring of Kerry - both tourist destination. I would higly recommend this location.

Great place to stay in Tralee. A few miles out of city center. Largest room during our stay as well as the largest bathroom. Wireless internet was a plus. Large room for breakfast and the salmon eggs were absolutely delicious. Outside of hotels this was the most expensive place we stayed but certainly worth the extra Euros.

Sandra was the most charming, helpful and accomodating hostess in Ireland, we think. She took us in on a moment's notice, fed us amazing breakfasts, did our laundry at an extremely reasonable cost and gave us the largest and softest towels we have ever experienced in any accomodation. --- all this at a VERY reasonable cost. Highly recommended!

We arrived at the Brooke Manor Lodge (May 15) after a long day drive around the Dingle Peninsula. We were greeted by the new owner, Sondra who couldn't have been nicer and more gracious. We had a room(#7) on the second floor with a four poster bed, sitting alcove, wardrobe, dressing table and a large bathroom. The breakfast room is a beautiful glassed in atrium that looks out into a lovely garden. The lodge got it's name from the brook that runs alongside the property. Sondra gave us the name of a great place to eat...the Tankard, which was about 5 miles down the road from the Lodge. We were there about a week prior to the high season rush so no reservation was necessary. The food was excellant and the pub connected to the restaurant was great for after dinner Irish coffee. One thing we have found in all accommodation in Ireland is you don't need a blow dryer. They all provide them for you...even the smallest B&B's have them for you in the rooms. Only minus we found to this propery was the glass partition in the shower was to small and water got all over the floor when you took a shower. I think that is something they can easily remedy with the use of shower curtains. All in all a lovely property and equally lovely hostess.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful place for one night during a week-long driving trip through parts of Ireland. We did not book ahead as we did not know where we would be staying from night to night. We had taken the name/number with us based on TripAdvisor reviews. When we called, we were treated very pleasantly and easy-to-follow driving directions were provided.

It is located just a short ways outside of Tralee. Since we had a car, that was no problem. Check-in was efficient and warm. That allowed us to unload our car and leave for a late-afternoon, early-evening drive around the Dingle Peninsula (one of the highlights of our trip.)

The room was very spacious, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, a nice treat. We had everything we needed and more.

Breakfast was delicious and served in a delightful, sunny conservatory. The food was typical for an Irish breakfast but it did have a much better selection of fruit and yogurt than many other places.

Vincent gave us restaurant recommendations for dinner but we ended up eating at The Chart House in Dingle because of the time of night when we were there. It was the best meal we had the entire week and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Vincent was such a pleasant and professional host, very concerned that we have an enjoyable stay. He also very graciously recommended a B&B for the next night that turned out to be just as excellent as his other recommendations.

It was nice to be able to pay for our stay with a credit card, something a minority of B&Bs do. We left relaxed, refreshed, and feeling like we had made a friend. We highly recommend Brook Manor Lodge if you are in the Tralee area of Ireland!

We stayed a night at the Brook Manor lodge in October and it was one of the best experiences in Ireland. We rang from Tralee and got directions. We had tea in town at the Imperial Hotel and then found the manor very easily.
When we arrived Vincent was fantastic. He settled us into our room which had the biggest bed I have even seen, each side had it own post code. We then went to the sitting room for coffee and a chat. In the morning breakfast was sublime and decadent. Smoked Salmon omlette...yes please. Vincent had also taken the time to write down some places and sights we might like to see and SHOULD see especially around DIngle, and he was right. This was our first B&B experience, and one I will always remember fondly. Have a look at the web site ----
