Changed my booking to this hotel after reading recent reviews of the Abbeygate. Definitely the right decision. Lovely hotel, even though there is some refurbishment going on. Excellent location as well. No parking in the immediate vicinity but there was free parking in a local car park about 500 yards away, (the hotel give you a card to place on your dashboard). Food was excellent though not cheap. Excellent service throughout our stay
