This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant and having coming all the way from wexford to killarney for two nights we just had to book a night in tralee just so we could go to this restaurant again. It certainly is as treasure. My first visit was last July for my birthday and it became my favourite restaurant ever!!
The ambience in this restaurant is just the best...stone walls...fairy lights..candlelit tables...warm fire...you just couldn't ask for more..Staff were friendly on both occasions and the lady who owned the place could not have been more welcoming.
Garlic mushrooms to start were just delicious, and a very generous basket of bread. Both of us had the sirloin steak which, although originally being disappointed the fillet beef was no longer on the menu, there was no need, as it was absolutely mouth watering and cooked to perfection..served with mushrooms and a big deep fried onion ring, on the bed of mash and a very generous helping of vegetables.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. It just ticks all the boxes. It is great value for money and i certainly will be planning my next trip to tralee just to go back again. This is he first time I've ever left a review..It was just too good not to. Keep up the good work
