This was a great b & b. The room was clean and comfy, the welcome was warm and included an offer of tea and a chat. Our host was both adorable and able to offer great travel and route advice. Thanks Colm for directions and a lovely breakfast.

We loved our stay in this great B&B for 6 days while we toured southwestern Ireland in our rented car. Sorcha and Colm were wonderful hosts, and their children were a delight. Our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty, with fresh fruit every day. The location was perfect for our daily excursions, and Tralee is a lovely town. Our hosts recommended the Irish National Folk Theatre, and we attended the final night of the season, and loved the performance. Don't miss this!

Pro: Larger room than most, average bath, second floor rooms. Clean comfortable bedding, adaquate outlets. Nice location. Friendly hosts
Con: B bit dissapointed in breakfast as the owners daughter served and she was not used to doing it. That was probably a one time thing so would not expect that again.
Would recommend this B&B

A note about B&B's: We stayed in 7 B&B's during our trip, all 4 star or more. Generally they do not provide any wash cloths and just hand soap, no shower soap. As a rule the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny, about 3' x 9' with just enough room for the shower stall, toilet and sink. The showers are small some just 2' square. Most do not have any alarm clocks, have dim lighting especially the bathrooms and few or no outlets for charging phones, tablets, etc. That being said they were all clean with nice bedding, all provided a full delicious Irish breakfast and all the hosts were very friendly.

My friends and I have stayed here twice during the last couple of years during cycle tours around the Irish coast. This year we arrived at 10 p.m. following an all day trip by car, ferry and bus from the UK. Despite our late arrival Sorcha and Colm made us most welcome and provided four weary travellers with supper before we retired. Having met them the previous year, we had lots to catch up on and with their relaxed manner and genuine interest, it really did feel as though they were welcoming back long term friends.

We slept there in September 2013 with no previous booking.
It was our first time sleeping in a bed&breakfst and we had a very nice experience there.
The owner was very friendly and as soon as we arrived he showed us the room and then he prepared a cup of tea for us with some biscuits.
The breakfst room shows many photos of the family and they seem a very nice family, really.
We only met the owner and one of the daughters but I am sure they're all a very friendly family.
The room was perfect. Wide, clean, and warm. The furniture was ok and in good conditions.
The house is also cleaned and you can feel to be at home there.
The place is so silent and it was a pleasure to sleep with no noises around. we could park in their yard and so even the car was safe. Even if it isn't in the centre of the town it's near, you can be there in 2-3 minutes by car.
The breakfast was great also. We ate homemade pancakes with maple syrup which we both loved and we were full for the other half of the day!
The owner also explained us what to see and how to go to Dingle and he was also very helpful the evening before, when we didn't know where to have dinner.
This bed&breakfast is on the first place in Italian Tripadvisor, so I was sure to find a great place and a very-welcoming family!
I'd definitely go there again and I'll suggest the place to my friends and family if they'll ever go to Tralee.

We stayed here recently while at the Rose of Tralee festival, originally we had just booked one room for two of us but as a mix-up with another b&b caused my friend to need somewhere to stay we enquired of the hostess if she would allow my friend to have the spare bed in our room, she immediately said yes and didn't charge any extra for the room only charged for the extra breakfast. I thought it was very accomodating of her and really appreciated it. the room was excellent the ensuite was as large as many bedrooms, the location was excellent nice and quiet and very close to town. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and my daughter fancied bacon, pancakes and maple syrup no bother to this lady. I can't praise this b&b enough if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and very very good value this is it.

Room Tip: we had a room with a double and a single it was at front of house-excellent

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst at the festival in tralee. We're made to feel right at home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading to tralee. Beats staying in a hotel on experience and price hands down. Hope to return in the future
