“Great place”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

One of the best places we stayed, Sorcha was great and we had fun chatting with her. The room was nice and bright and the breakfast was great. We enjoyed the walk into town and had a great time. We would stay here again.

Want to feel at home with an authentic Irish family this is the place. Welcomed by their daughter we were soon integrated into this young family and their beautiful home. Our room upstairs was roomy, bright and well cared for. Sorcha and her husband were wonderful hosts and provided service beyond expectation. Sorcha recommended a Drama that was being held that night and we learned so much about the Blasket Islands before we even say them the next day. We stayed two nights and each was relaxing and the Breakfast Porridge with Bailey's was special!

I can't say enough about this B&B, it's great location, gorgeous home and mostly, about the amazing, charming, welcoming hosts - Sorcha & Colm!!! OMG! We stayed in 4 B&B's while in Ireland and this was by FAR my favorite! Beautiful, modern home & rooms, wonderful food...we truly felt right at home. Please, please if you're in the area you MUST stay here.

Room Tip: Bring your own washcloth. Of the 4 B&B's we stayed at only one provided them. I know it'...

We really enjoyed our time in Tralee and being able to spend it with Sorcha. She is so full of energy and knowledgeable of Irish culture and history. The accommodations were bright and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

My sister and I traveled (from Australia) around Ireland for a short while before meeting other siblings in York to scatter our mother's ashes. From the moment we walked in Sorcha and family made us feel so welcome, ready with a cup of tea. A short walk into town for dinner, and back to comfortable beds and a good night's sleep. Next morning breakfast was the best we had the whole time we were away, freshest fruit and choices.

We travelled to Tralee from Galway enroute visited The Cliffs of Mohr. The accommodation and breakfast was of a very high standard. We were very happy we decided to stay 3 nights. Sorcha and Colm are the owners supported by their daughter Rein. It`s only 10/12 minute walk into town, if you don't wish to drive. Tralee has a good choice of Restaurants, so no lack of choices. We decided to drive around the Dingle Peninsular for 1 of our days. What a great drive, beautiful scenery and very little traffic. We drove the northern road The Connor Pass in the morning and returned the lower road later in the day. Dingle is a very pretty seaside town and from there we did a circle trip of the western area.On the way home we drove pass Inch and took a road to a place called Camp. Once I had committed us I realized there was no space to turn and we had to continue. What a drive...lots of gravel on the one car wide road. We kept looking ahead to see if another car was coming - as we survived I can say it was a wonderfull drive. I told Sorcha about it, she said...In parts that road is not even a road. The next day I decided a coach trip of The Ring of Kerry was in order so we drove down to Killarney to pick up the coach. Our driver Michael left a lot to be desired in his commentary, very mundane and perfunctory. It was a good drive but in our opinion the Connemara area comes first, Dingle Peninsular 2nd, Ring of Kerry third. Tralee is a top spot to be based, so much to do. Our B & B was great, with nothing to be desired. If we return again, this is where we would stay.

Great location - walking distance to town. Also very good location for day trips to locations in the southwest of Ireland. A really good Irish breakfast to start your day as well. Sorcha was very friendly and helpful.
