Myself and a few friends came to this spot for a few days recently. I found Barrie the proprietor to be very accommodating and helpful. He gave us a very good deal on the house where we stayed. The house was very clean, well equipped and set in a peaceful location with a small sitting room, a nice wood stove, large kitchen and spacious bedrooms. There was enough room for 7. There is a restaurant, shop and pub all within walking distance. The owner of the pub, Tim, was helpful and friendly. The only problems with this development is that it is quite out of the way and there was no radio/stereo so it might turn into a VERY quiet few days. The nearest village is a few kilometers down a dangerous road. Taxis cost around €10 to Castlegregory (which is a really cute little village). This place would be great for quiet getaway and a decent place to base yourself if you want to explore the beautiful Dingle Pininsula.
