“not a pleasant experience and definately would not recommend”
Reviewed September 18, 2010

Found this caravan/campsite a very strange place to be honest. Staff had a couldnt care less attitude 'sort of 'take it or leave it'. Clear to see why, not enough competition in the area, in fact no other site that would take tents. The facilities were ok, not the best we experienced during our 12 day tour of the west coast. We must comment on the UNBELIEVABLE NUMBER OF 'DO NOT' SIGNS, from do not park here to no tall children on the slide!!. We counted over 25 different 'do not' signs!! You would think then if a customer had a complaint they would act on it? No such thing when several of us campers complained about a large group of local guys who had been shouting and partying at 4 in the morning they had nothing to say and made no offer to reduce the rate for our inconvenience. The area definately needs some competition, but we did see a number of people camping on common land as we were leaving I would camp there next time.

This campsite was very clean and well situated with direct access to the beach. We found the owners to be extremely helpful and although they were full when we arrived they were more than helpful in finding us somewhere else to stay and kept us a spot for the next day. The facilities were spotless and the play areas were gr8 for the kids. My 7 year old daughter spent most of her time a the play area with the new friends she had a made.

While the campsite was clean the attitude of the owners who run the park was not pleasant. There are enough campsites around the area to go for pleasant service elsewhere.

This was the cleanest best kept site we have been to , the toilets, showers and kitchens were spotless all day and all night. There were sinks with draining boards placed all over the site which was a relief from the usual tap in a field. The pitches were on a lovely garden type area and were very flat , tent pegs were also easy to push into the ground. The best thing about this site was the beautiful beach at the back of the site with it's own access from the campsite.Huge sand doons which the kids spent hours playing on.A must stay a the previous review said.

We loved this site because of its security and layout. When we arrived we were given keys which allowed us access the toilets/shower and kitchen area. This elevates unwanted visitors and promotes children being supervised instead of running rampant and messing up the place. There was also a barrier which we had a fob for. This was brilliant security for the caravan and camper owners. The site was spotless and well kept and the toilets, showers and kitchen/laundry were a credit to the owners. There was a beautiful beach close by with a gate at the back of the site allowing entry/exit to the beach. The site is ideal for children with plenty of play area including a sand pit which the children loved. Also swings and slides. Plenty of hot water and several sink areas around the large site which was a lovely idea. The reception area was welcoming and the staff were courteous and helpful. What more could you ask for.
