I stayed in the Denton B&B with a group of 6 people for 3 night. The place is run by a delightful person, who is very welcoming, great host and extremely helpful person. Standard of the rooms is on a high level. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and cosy. The Irish breafast served every day on request was just delicius. The price is very good. If I go back to Tralee I will certinely be staying there again!

Three senior couples from Canada touring Ireland booked into this B&B to be close to a tour of the Dingle peninsula. Not only was the B&B beyond our expectations, Eileen had helped us arrange a tour of the peninsula with a super guide. We loved the tour and were grateful for such an informed guide as John of Coastal Tours. Eileen was the most delightful hostess who provided sparkling clean rooms, delicious and plentiful breakfasts, helpful suggestions for dining (Johnny Frank's Pub) and willingly allowed us to take over the small sitting room for our evening nightcap. We would certainly recommend a stay here when in Tralee.

This B&B costs a bit less than some others at which we stayed and is a bit more Spartan. Our room was small (but certainly adequate), the furnishings plain, and the bathroom shower tiny. Our room was spotlessly clean.

The cups and plates at the breakfast table had a delightful pattern. My requested meatless breakfast was tasty and varied. (Disappointing were the frozen potatoes). The crystal chandelier at the bottom of the stairs could use attention.

This is a nice place. It certainly isn't the fanciest, but was just fine for us.

We stayed 3 nights at Denton House in Sept. 2012, we were a foursome eager for a nice dinner and a good night's sleep. Eileen gave us some fine ideas, and we ate at the Grand Hotel...go if you can! had a great meal and a nice 15 minute walk back to digest and plan our attack on the next day.
We had a lovely breakfast.....ohhhh the brown bread! and real coffee. Tralee is a smallish city, and we chose to walk around for a bit, we recommend that also.
Back to Eileen's B&B, it had comfy rooms, with a tiny bath, but plenty of room for our clothes in the armoire. The sitting room downstairs was roomy and very clean, we four sat for a nightcap and it was fine that the bedrooms are not "American" sized.
Everything was very clean and well maintained. Our rooms faced the back garden, also nicely kept.
I would certainly recommend Denton's to travelers in Tralee.

Eileen runs a fantastic B&B. She is sweet, friendly, and so helpful (definitely has the Irish gift of gab!). Try the full Irish breakfast here for sure, we messed up and didn't and never saw one as impressive the rest of the trip. Keep in mind that the rooms and bathrooms are smaller than we'd have here in the states, but are comfortable and well appointed. If you're looking for the real Irish experience, stay here!

Top notch choice; you will ot be disappointed. Eileen Doherty is a lively, gracious hostesss who takes care of your every need in a most enthusiastic manner. Her husband Jim stayed up to welcome us and help us with the luggage after we arrived at 11:30 PM after getting lost on the Dingle Peninsula.. Each room is as tidy as a pin, quite large and bright with matching colors, and the breakfasts are delicious. The beds are comfortable and our friends also throughly enjoyed their stay. If you are visiting the Kerry area, this will be a treat and Eileen's voice will be a happy memory to cherish. We spent 15 days in Ireland and this was my third trip and I would return to Denton in a heartbeat!!

Room Tip: Every room was just lovely; all are quiet. The hospitality makes any room wonderful
