We spent 2 nights here while over in Ireland to climb Carrauntohil 1038m. A Highly Recommended B+B - in fact its almost a small hotel. We had a huge room for the 3 of us with large bathroom and good views. Eileen serves a terrific breakfast with the most awesome porridge, you really must try it!

But the excellent selection for breakfast would really suit the most picky of palates - you can't be disappointed. Other good points? Eileen the owner's friendliness, the large car park, afternoon tea and cake, an annotated map in the room to take into town with all the best eating places marked, VERY comfortable beds, fridge and wine glasses in the room and spotless cleanliness. Absolutely tip top.

Any bad points? None at all really....

If I had to say anything, it would be that its a little too far to walk into town comfortably so I had to drive and drink Coke in those wonderful Irish pubs. Also the room was a little cold and that made it hard drying our mountain clothes that got soaked on the hill. Also there is a 3% charge for all cards, even debit cards, so make sure you draw out some cash unless you don't mind the charge.

Have a lovely stay and say hello to Monty the Dog.

The rooms are fabulous and super comfortable. The breakfast sublime. Try the oatmeal/porridge.. to die for. The breakfast room was beautiful along with the view of the river. Afternoon tea was great. We drove to town and parked free in the car park, had good meals. eileen was a gracious hostess helping us navigate the area for the best sightseeing. This is one of the best B and B ' especially for the price. I totally recommend this place.

Room Tip: pay a bit extra for the room at the far end of the hall by the river..

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here, so much that we even added an additional night as we had not gotten to enjoy all the activities and sight seeing to do in the area. Breakfast was wonderful, the facility was simply beautiful, and Eileen was a very gracious hostess. We ended up getting lost and not arriving until much later than we had originally hoped which caused her to have to change her evening plans (sorry Eileen!). We had room #4 and it was just a wonderful location with a fantastic view and you could hear the river flowing at night. the lighting that they had thru out the house and outside really was wonderful and just made you feel good. Eileen also provided us with great directions, places to eat and some recommendations of other quality B&B's in the area were where heading out to. Thank you for one more reason we loved our trip to Ireland and hope to be back one day!

A picturesque property backing onto the river, with ample parking spaces. Eileen welcomed us with a tray of tea and cake. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. We drove to the town centre for dinner. The car park is free after 6.30pm. There are many good restaurants there, some with live music. Breakfast was a feast with plenty of variety and as much tea and toast as you wanted. We stayed for 7 nights and felt quite at home. We hope to return to this beautiful part of Ireland and would not consider staying anywhere else.

This home is just absolutely stunning and is about 5 minutes outside of Killarney city centre and 10 minutes from Killarney National Park (driving for both). It is very spacious and has a BEAUTIFUL backyard which is right on the river. The owner, Eileen, was extremely friendly and accommodating and even upgraded my husband and I to the "Honeymoon Suite" for our 2 night stay. The room was beautifully decorated with old world looking furniture and a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and the dining room overlooks the backyard and the river which makes for a very relaxing morning. Yes, she charges 5euro for the internet, but it is FIVE EURO. It really isn't enough to ruin a stay and the connection was never an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

This home was absolutely beautiful. We arrived in the early morning and Eileen was still preparing breakfast for the previous nights visitors. She was so kind to talk to us and show us to a beautiful room which cost just a few extra euros than we had reserved, and we could put our bags in and go about sightseeing. I can't say enough how great this place was. We spent 2 days here, and Eileen gave us info on sightseeing and eating, drew us maps on how to get around and was more than accomodating to all our needs. I would highly recommend her B & B to anyone who wants to stay at a luxurious B & B with very reasonable rates, and a friendly helpful owners. We loved this place.

Room Tip: Reserve the Delux double suite, if you want to feel pampered.
