“Great Craic, Romantic, peaceful, Great getaway:)”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

It was our first time trying glamping and it was a great experience. We were welcomed by Linda on site and showed around, very friendly and helpful. Everything you need was there(bbq, fuel for the stove etc) All you needed was food and drink. The bed was so comfy even better than hotel beds. id recommend it if you wanted to try something different and just chill out:)

I stayed here at the end of September and I have to say we enjoyed ourselves sooo much. when we arrived I was a bit worried about the limited space as we had our two small children with us but we had loads. its lovely in the morning for them to be able to get up and run around the front lawn. it is just outside Killarney town and perfectly located with easy access to all the main roads. The owners are super friendly and so so welcoming, my daughter was sick on the first night and Linda came out at 9pm and gave me medicine for her and was truly concerned which I thought was lovely, they are really happy to have you there and it is not just a service. The kitchen area was perfect and supplied all you need in regards to utensils and the bathrooms and shower rooms are always spotless which I am sure is not easy with people sharing. It was getting a bit cold at night so I would advise staying earlier in the summer but we managed and had lots and lots of covers. I don't really have anything negative to say about the place, it is lovely for kids and we had a great time. we have recommended it to all our friends and will be back again for sure.

Had a great stay here for 2 nights with my girlfriend. The stove inside the tent is brilliant. The staff were so so friendly, best service we have ever had. Very private and intimate setting. All we had to bring was towels. Everything else was covered. Will be going back again in the not so distant future.

Myself, my boyfriend and my 7 year old son stayed for a week in August! We have never been camping before and Glamping is definitely the way to go! Everything is provided for all your needs from gas stove, BBQ and the warmest bed linen! The location was perfect with a short distance to the town and supermarkets all around! Free access to the swimming pool is a perfect way to end a hectic sight seeing day! Will be back again!

Myself and my boyfriend are just back from a two night stay here and I have to say it was absolutely amazing! The owners are some of the nicest people you could meet, Linda couldn't have helped us anymore even recommending where the best spots to eat were, which taxi to go with and what day trips/activities were fun. Their attention to detail is great, and the little stoves in the tents make it nice and cosy at night time. The toilets and showers were always spotless too.
We already can't wait to go back it was such a fun couple of days and so relaxing!

Just back from a two night stay - it was excellent - very comfortable and enjoyable. The owners have put effort into every detail.
There are hot showers, warm water in the toilets and in the kitchen area. The little stoves in the tents, combined with the lanterns and tea-lights, make for a cosy atmosphere in the tent. You have to be ok with expecting to see a creepy crawly every now and then in the tent or kitchen :) , but it is glamping after all!
The beds are very comfortable, your personal kitchen area is great (with gas BBQ, picnic table etc), waking up to the sounds of the nearby river all add up to make this experience fantastic and something out of the norm. Definitely do not miss this and booking in advance seems necessary as with 5 tents it gets booked up!
Only suggestion for the owners would be to have more signage on the road - for passing traffic and also to have signs to find Grove Lane!
