Really nice place, clean, comfortable beds, very green and lovely staff. Only suggestion I would make is shelves or more hooks in the showers. Everything on the floor got soaking wet. Other than that, thanks for a great stay.

Good location. No parking though. Friendly staff. Okay kitchen. Mirror in the male toilets on the first floor is really hard to see into - made shaving difficult. Breakfast was provided for - it was okay, usual hostel fare.

This is our second stay here. The first one was Nov last year and was great for its location.

This time was a lot hotter (unusual for Ireland I know) so the room was very stuffy but it was clean, the shared shower was great and toilets very handy. We had a private room with shared facilities. As it was a one night stop over it was just what we needed. Not noisy where we were and very handy to all the entertainment. There is also a supermarket directly opposite down an alleyway. Very handy!!

nice hostel, staff ok (we had a problem with the shower, which was cold, and the staff tried to help, even though couldn't do anything) but great location.Good prices as well.

I spoke to the lady on the phone before booking and she was happy to give me more infiormation.

We stayed here just one night- but it was a good hostel. The kitchen was a bit tight, but the rooms were big. The bathroom in an 8 en suit was fine, but you have a timer on the water. Overall good stay- parking was close (and free) even on their Bank Holiday Weekend during Bike week ( we aren't bikers...)

We only stayed for one night in a private room but from what we experienced this was a good hostel. We paid for a private room with shared bath and got upgraded to a private room with bath at check in which was a bonus.
What we liked:
Hostel is in a perfect location, right in town but sheltered from street noise
Breakfast included (toast and corn flaked)
Friendly staff
Free parking 10 minutes walk away
Kitchen and fridge in main area
Good shower pressure and hot water

Didn't like so much:
We were downstairs so it was quite noisy, we could hear the other guests in the lobby until quite late, it wasn't overly disturbing or loud but a very light sleeper might want to consider this in their plans for room location, etc
Quite a worn out, older looking hostel, room was average but not bad.
Didn't feel very interactive (although we were only there one night)

Would stay here again but don't expect a flashy hostel, expect a friendly whilst average looking place that will satisfy everything a traveller really needs with their accommodation.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room if a light sleeper

We've stayed for 3 nights on February'13 in a double bed private room ensuite.
The price and the location are great, in walking distance to the train and coach stations, close to the main street and to the national park entrance.
We booked a room with shared bathroom, but at the check in they gave us an upgrade to an ensuite.
The room was good, clean, only problem was that we had problems to take a shower at night! Only a small thread of water was coming out, so it was very hot and it was very difficult to cleanse. The reception lady said that it was because a lot of people were taking shower at the same time...
