Organised to eat here for a birthday. Rang to confirm and they wouldn't take a voucher we had even though it never said in their terms and conditions that we weren't allowed eat on that specific day.
Ruined the night. Manager is not a pleasant person and would never eat there due to her unprofessional and ignorant ways.

On our second day in Killarney, we were meandering around the streets and saw a sign for La Rambla tucked away down an alley. We decided to try it out.

The ambiance was great. We ordered tapas, 1 sangria and 1 house wine. The price for the food was incredible and the food itself was great. The drinks were very small, not much to them. The only real complaint that we left with was the service. We did not have a reservation, which the server did not have a problem with, but with 5 tables and 1 server having to act as host, bus person, server, bartender, cashier and pretty much everything but the cook, you could tell she was understandably overwhelmed.

We would definitely go back, but the service wasn't great

Look after your clients and your clients will look after you. Not a good experience we ended up in an other restaurant and were treated to a great meal.

Within the first 5 minutes of arriving and being seated all the rules of good restaurant service were not only broken but not even attempted by way of service. There was no warm welcome just an interrogation as to the validity of the booking! We were shown to a tiny and cramped table within 18 inches of two couples trying to have a romantic spaonsh tapas experience (sorry guys). When we were eventually asked if we would like to order a drink, he wine wanted wasn't in stock. Now I can understand this but when you only have 6 reds on your list all between 25 and 33 euro it doesn't leave the customer with much of a choice. We the ordered wine and water (meaning tap water for the table) we were not offered a choice and a bottle arrived, again can we be offered the choice please!!

The food was very good when it arrived, the team in the kitchen was firing on all cylinders tonight and they managed to redeem the appalling waitress who really wanted to be elsewhere.

In the end a good night, we had to at least get friendly with our neighbouring table as we were practically sharing it anyway.

All I can say is soak up the crappy service in a Basil Fawlty way, expect a floor show and you'll have a great night.

We went to La Rambla last week. We were seated quickly by the waitress. We were given our menus and there was lots to chose from. There was an early bird 3 course set menu for 22 euro there was an a la carte tapas menu and main courses and also a list of specials.
We started by ordering a bottle of the house red which was 19 euro and a spanish tempranillo and was very nice.
We then ordered 6 different tapas. We enjoyed the whole experience the food was very tasty and we felt good value. My favorite was the wild venison but there was lots to chose from.
The waitress was busy but she did check if everything was ok. We got the food as it was ready.
The atmosphere was nice.
We will definitely be returning.
