Myself and my wife climbed carrauntoohil with kerryclimbing yesterday and we couldn't speak highly enough of them. Our guide had huge experience and local knowledge which he shared making the day more than just a climb. He also took photos of us and the climb which are excellent. All in all highly recommended. Thanks again guys. Brian and Ann Marie

Piaras was the perfect guide for this route - mixing his enthusiasm and expertise with a sensitivity to the needs of everyone in the group. The route itself is a scrambling classic and compares well with the best grade 1 routes anywhere in England & Wales. Will definitely go back to the Reeks to try an even more challenging route!

Hi there Paul.
Firstly can I say a big thank you for taking the time to review your day with us. It was a superb day indeed though it was a shame your group didn't get the views due to the dense mist and fog. It was a hugely enjoyable day all the same and it was lovely to meet you all and spend the day with you on such a wonderful and thrilling scrambling route. Glad to hear you rated it as good as any of the same grade in the UK. Be sure to get in touch for more scrambling Adventures when next you're back okay. Many thanks again.
Kind regards
Piaras

I have done a few climbs around Ireland in preparation for Kilimanjaro and the two trips I did with Kerry Climbing have been the best, without a doubt. Piaras tailored the climbs to the ENTIRE group, so that no one felt out of their depth but at the same time providing everyone with a challenge! Piaras was happy to share his knowlege of the surrounding areas, flora and geology. Also, great advice on kit, climbing etc. Cant wait to get back to Kerry, its fast becoming my favourite part of Ireland!

I have been on two climbs with Kerry Climbing recently on Carrauntoohil and Mount Brandon as part of my training for climbing Kilimanjaro this year. Both days were thoroughly enjoyable, informative and challenging. From the initial information (kit lists, walk description, etc) to the post climb photographs, the the service from Piaras and Catherine was exceptional. Piaras is a fantastic guide and his knowledge of and love for the Irish peaks made the climbs a real treat. He gave us great tips on climbing and kit for our trip as well as information on the mountains and surrounding areas. We climbed the Faha Ridge on Brandon which was an amazing experience with some spectacular views.
I will definitely be heading back to Kerry and Kerry Climbing for future climbs and to discover some more of the fantastic sights of Ireland.
