Exactly the traditional Irish experience we were hoping for. The food was very good and the music wonderful! It was a very family friendly pub.

We reserved a table at Molly Darcy's to take in the evening show, which we expected to be lively traditional Irish music. Only three members of the five member band were there that night, and although we did hear some Irish tunes, they just didn't deliver. (The two dancers, on the other hand were very good.) Not only was the show disappointing, but the food was completely uninspiring. The Irish stew was bland and lacking in flavour, the cheesecake was not particularly good, and the Irish coffee that we both ordered was a complete disappointment.

After a day of sight seeing we actually drove past the place, but told ourselves we would be back for it was filled with people. "It must be for a reason," we thought. So the following day we did and without reservations. They were able to sit us right away. This pub is more contemporary but very inviting nonetheless. I have enclosed photos of our meals. We had the Roast Chicken with Roasted Vegetables, Lamb Stew and Cider. For dessert we had a personal Apple pie, a mousse and all was gobbled up! Great meal.

The two couples went here as it was convenient to the end of our day. We all had good meals and presentation and portions were good. The waiter was good and did not rush us. Would recommend. The traditional canned music was not very good however.....
