“A great day out for everyone.”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Very good day out and spend as long as you want, there are lots of different animals there.

Take a picnic and some spare food for the animals, you are allowed to feed them.

There is also a small cafe in the grounds if you prefer a snack and a cuppa.

Everything is on one level so it is ok for dissabled and wheelchairs.

You will not be dissapointed, my wife and i go there each time we in Ireland, we never get fed up with it.

There is no charge for parking your car.

“A wonderful place for holidays or daytrip :-)”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

This year it was our 4th summerholiday (2 Weeks) on the Kennedy´s Pet Farm in Killarney.

We love the friendly and recreative atmosphere on the farm. Family Kennedy is very kind and uncomplicated.

You can feel, that all animals on the farm are happy and satisfied to live here. Many of them, especially the puppies and the kitten, love it to be cuddled and pet and of course feed, like Bambi the cheeky deer.

Even bad weather is no problem. There are many places inside like the great indoor playground or the “sand place ” in the big barn. Also the playground outside is fantastic and the children love it to play there.

The holiday homes are very well appointed and the arrangement is warm and friedly. Every house have a garden. So you can have a really relaxing holiday.

We can highly recommend to spend the holidays or a daytrip on the Kennedys Pet Farm.

“A Fantastic Experience!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This pet farm is a guaranteed good time rain or shine- and their web site doesn't even come close to showing what a great experience it is. It is very easy to find right off the main road from Killarney to Cork. The barn area is where most of the animals are, but there are several acres of roads to walk along with fields of horses and deer. We spent a few hours there with our 2 year old. The farm is very clean and pretty in an old fashioned way. The owners welcomed us at the gates and explained that all the animals are hands on and safe for children. There were horses, pigs, donkeys, deer, puppies, geese, rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, kittens and goats. They all loved being petted. Visitors can go right into the open pens to be with the animals. The farmer brought out food for my son to feed the animals with, and even let him "help" push the wheel barrow.
There are large playgrounds both inside and out. There is a coffee shop, although we brought our own snacks. There are sinks and soap everywhere for hand washing, and several toilets scattered about.
At the end of the day, my son left exhausted and happy. We took some fabulous photos.
We live in Boston, but already have plans to go back in March.
An added bonus, they have new self catering houses on the property which are perfect for families with young children.

“Children will love it”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

My children are always asking to go here, even though we live near farms and animals. It is always worth the effort with no end of amusing animals. It is always a great opportunity for children and adults to see animals close up, whereas otherwise they would not see farm aminals. Well worth a visit.
