The staff was exceptionally nice. Some of the features were dated but everything was clean. It was reasonably comfortable. (Note: like many hotels in this area, there is no airconditioning. A fan might be nice to bring along.) i would forego the breakfast and eat somewhere else; it was "typical Irish" but barely warm and tasteless/bland. We have a family member who has many food allergies and they gave him a very fishy smelling smoked fish for breakfast. I shouldn't complain since they did accommodate him but it wasn't the salmon that they advertised. I just wasn't impressed with the breakfast. The views are pretty. It is convenient to the Killarney National Park, the Gap of Dunloe and the Ring of Kerry drive.
