Stayed here 2 nights. The place is located right in the middle of town...which was wonderful!
Very spacious room (king size bed) and bathroom. Both very clean. Suprisingly, very quiet, although we did stay 2 weekdays. 2 bars/pubs and restaurant on location. The food at King Kenmares Restaurant was excellent!
Car park lot only a 1 minute walk and 3 Euros a day. Street parking also available.
Will definitely be back!!

We stayed three nights in Murphy's of Killarney. The room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately without a view and with a noisy airco. And the sheets were not breathable so we perspired quite a bit. But no mistake the hotel is o.k.
The bar serves a great choice of good bar-meals at a fair price. Both residents and non-residents, locals and from abroad (esp. USA) visit the bar. The atmosphere was goody and ideal for meeting people. We met some great people from the States and Ireland. Great live traditional music. Killarney is a great town with lots of shops, restaurants en pubs. And the centre of, in our view, the most beautiful part of the Ring of kerry, with its lakes and magnificent views.

Food was good, Drink in bar expensive.

The room was very basic, but clean. View was horrendous, looking out at extractor fans in an interior room, the smell of dinner coming in the room was unbearable.

Bar staff were friendly, but the waitresses could do with smiling a bit more.

I must say their towels were good quality!

This place is a little gem, Killarney is a great spot and if you want quality and comfort at the right price then Murphy's hits the spot. great staff and good food in the bar and lively music. if you are a tourist then the traditional music will be a hit. the central location is great although you have to part in a public pay and display car park., watch out for the parking warden after 9.30am, make sure to put a ticket on or you will be clamped/fined.

Stayed for a long weekend in Murphys B&B and it did not disappoint. It was in a great location, all pubs and restaraunts within walking distance and reasonably priced car park just across the road. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, there was also plenty of space for anyone travelling with alot of luggage! The rate was €50 per person for a twin room and €45 per person for a triple room, this includes breakfast which was lovely (although fried potatoes came as chips). The bar below had great atmosphere and they also did a lovely lunch menu. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be in the centre of killarney without the hassle of getting taxis and it is great value for money
