Situated 8 mins walk from Killarney town centre, this family run guest house is ideal base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. The rooms are comfortable and there are good lounge and dinning room areas, although only breakfast is supplied, and very good it is to. There is a small limited bar for that all important nightcap, only bottle beers available, all in all good value.

Stayed here with a friend when we went over to killarney for long weekend in Ireland and a day at the races. Very welcoming and friendly from arrival until we left. stayed in a twin room which was big and comfortable, perfectly adequate facilities in room and good bathroom. Irish breakfast is fantastic. 5 Mins walk from lively town centre so gets benefit of being quiet but close to bars and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend to anyone as a really goods value place to stay in beautiful part of Ireland

Situated on the Muckross Road a short stroll from town we arrived on spec on a Friday evening and chose Old Weir lodege at random. Very Happy with choice. Inside is as good looking and comfortable as outside. Owners could not have been more pleasant. Good rooms, and super bathroom with lashings of hot water which was luxury after we came back from climbing Carrauntoohil on Saturday. Pleasant Residents bar and lounge. Breakfast was super with buffet for juices and cereals and full irish. I hope to return. Book early as I am sure this place will book out quickly during peak times.Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend and was delighted with the place. We received a warm welcome from the owner upon arrival and the healthy dose of Kerry wit was also on display. The room was great for such a reasonably priced BnB. It was massive, as was the bathroom. It's 12 mins walk to the Plaza which is pretty much 'in town'. Breakfast was very generous and tasty. Would definitely return.

Stayed in this B&B on the last stage of a golf swing in Kerry. The warm welcome from Maureen on arrival and her insistance on a hot breakfast prior to out 7:30 tee time the next day gives her top billing. Dermot gave us some tips on the course for the next day too. Truly wonderful. Room was clear and all that you would find in a hotel. Great value Great service. Ireland's B&B business can take a leaf from Maureen and Dermot on how to operate.

Location perfect for entertainment locations and access to all amenities in Killarney.
