This really is a family run hotel. We stayed here for 7 nights in august. Freda the lady of the house is lovely and works so hard. Caroline is her sister I think and her kids just appear every now and again.her son won some game while we were there and you could just feel the good atmosphere around the place.we were made so welcome.john the dad even brought us out some pizza after the celebrations from the game. Rooms really are spotless, could probably do with an up grade but the atmosphere and friendleness makes up for everything.thanks for such a lovely time

Room Tip: Enjoy the atmosphere' get to know them

found via net search based on location out of Killarney yet near Ring of Kerry which it fits that bill, arrived early evening looking for food and drink, reminded its a guest house, ha, however eateries a short walk away. The main road its sitting on is busy, very busy! so the traffic noise can be a problem front front located rooms, weather was hot during stay needing windows and door on balcony to be open, noise from traffic kept up til near 11pm and resumed around 6 advise ask for rear acing room, however room was clewan and comfortable, breakfast decent for the price

Room Tip: ask for rear rooms only

Dear Roy, Thank you for taking the time to review our property,
We are delighted you overall found us to your satisfaction, I was at your check in myself and remember you clearly, a good soccer supporter, wearing the correct jersey in my view.
I do appreciate you were looking for a property with Restaurant and Bar but unfortunately we are only a guesthouse as I explained so those facilities are not available to us to supply, I would love to do so but licence laws are quite strict on this particular issue,
I apologise that the noise from the road disturbed you at night, it was a particularly hot few days while you were with us, not a bad complaint I suppose.I hope if you are ever this way again you will stay with us and make sure and give me a call to request a room at the back.John

We showed up at the 19th Green after a long day's travel and I have to admit I was not well (too much stout in Kinsale). The staff were lovely and very helpful. We headed to the Country Club across the street (run by the B&B) to eat and when I wasn't feeling well enough to stay, they packed up our dinner and sent it with us. It was obvious that they do not do take-away dining so the fact that they were so accommodating was a real surprise. We were encouraged (after our own enquiry) to take a guided bus tour of the Ring of Kerry and we were not steered wrong-it was a blast! Overall, a lovely place to stay :)
