“Wonderful location with friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

We stayed two nights as we were making our way through Ireland. Wonderful location within easy walking distance to town. We didn't eat at the fine dining restaurant but did enjoy the full breakfast and did eat at Kaynes next door and would recommend that as well! The staff was extremely wonderful and helpful. Would and have recommended this location to friends.

This hotel was everything we wanted and more. The staff could not do enough to help, so very friendly. We stayed for 3 nights, using it as a base to come back to each evening. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the lounges had really comfy sofas, excellent areas for relaxing with drinks and friends. With only a 5 min walk into town, the hotel was really well placed, so you could enjoy the National Park, Shopping and Bars all within easy reach with out the car. We would definately recommend to friends and family if they were looking to stay in this part of Ireland.

Room Tip: The hotel has a lift so all rooms are easily accessible.

This hotel is very good and the staff are every bit as good. We couldne have asked for more.
We stay in Killarney all the time and this was our first time there and for sure wont be the last. There was 6 famliies with children and they will all be going back because we all had a meal there on the night and it was very good. Afterwards we all went up to a room just off the bar where the kids and ourselves had a ball without getting on other peoples way.

On the 6th of October we as a family and friends stayed in the Randles Court Hotel celebrating my mother's 80th birthday. The staff and management were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us in the build up and also on the day when organising this special occasion.

We had a lovely private dining room off the main restaurant to ourselves where we had a beautiful meal and were then able to continue the birthday celebrations in private.

The bedrooms/bathrooms were very spacious and very comfortable.

The following day we had a lovely breakfast and we were equally well looked after by the management and staff.

We definitely will visit this hotel again.

All in all the management, staff, facilities, and location were excellent and we would like to thank the management and staff for the great service they provided us on our stay in the Randles Court Hotel.

What a beautiful hotel, the furniture is beautiful, rooms were very spacious. The lobby area is a great place to hang out and have a drink, coffee and conversation. A great place to unwind after a long day of touring. A nice walk to the town center, a great time. The rooms were spacious and very nice with an antique feel. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed for one night in Randles in Killarney after spending time Waterford . I had been to Killarney before but it was a first time for my husband . We had a wonderful time travelling around this beautiful part of Ireland. The room was comfortable and cosy but nothing special . The hotel is old style and the staff are friendly and helpful . It is very close to town so were able to walk to and from which was a bonus.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room with a view if staying more than one night .I did ask but it was an extra $20.0...

The hotel is well located and a lovely, typical irish accomodation.

Room:
The King signature room is spacious and there's lot of space to stow your things. The shower is like in a spa. The room is equipped with a flat TV and a DVD player. We never thought that before but we used it indeed as the room was so cosy and you can spend hours in there...
There was just a tiny problem with the heating. It was really hot inside the room when it was quite warm outside, but it was freezing in there when it was windy and rainy outside. Safe and WiFi free of charge available. No fridge or mini-bar. The room is definitely cleaned daily as well as the sheets and the towels!
Plus: kettle + tea making facilities!

Breakfast:
We had the room inkl. full hot irish breakfast. There's a menu available in the breakfast room and you can chose what you want from the kitchen. ie: eggs ( scrambled, fried, boiled, poached), tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages, crêpes, french toast, fish, cold meat, cheese, porridge, smoothie of the day...
At the buffet you have cereals, milk, bread ( croissants, brown bread), juices available. Tea or coffee and toast will be served.
The breakfast was delicious. We were satisfied everytime and nearly tasted the whole menu ;-) If you book a room only you can pay the breakfast on spot. € 15,00 for full hot irish.
The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the staff as well in the whole hotel is very, very friendly.

Facilities:
You can use the swimming pool during opening times ( 09.00 - 12.00, 17.00 - 20.00). Towels are available foc at the spa-reception. The pool is not big, but if you like you can swim your rounds. It was never busy there. Usually you meet hotel guests there, but it's also available for locals, so called members. There's a sauna and a steam bath in there. Unfortunately it's not the cleanest pool area I've ever seen. It's ok I'd say, especially at it is included and one of few hotels with pool around Killarney. On the wall you can see mould stains, and the water smells strange, although it seems to be cleaned!? We didn't try any beauty treatments, but the're not really expensive.

Location:
It's located ca. 5min by foot outside the town centre. I'd say that this is actually the best thing about the hotel. We've been going out every night and public transports or taxis are either not available 24/7 or just not affordable, as Ireland itself is quite expensive.
The hotel's door is closing at 2AM. But there's a porter there who opens the door after ringing a bell. That means the reception is staffed 24/7. We had to check out very early ( 6.30) and we handled everything with a porter - no problem at all! He offered us breakfast even tough it wasn't yet breakfast time. BIG PLUS + BIG THANKS FOR THAT!!!

I'd recommend this hotel any time. And I'll come back for sure!
It's a really great hotel and absolutely worth every 4 stars! The price actually convinced me as I've booked it. But now the complete package is just stunning...

Room Tip: upgrade available for only 15€ pp
