Stayed two nights and overall had a good experience. I agree with the previous visitor that the dining room lacked a bit of character but the food was good! The rooms were comfortable and we felt quite content. The hotel has quite a bit of old world character! A great place to stay!

We stayed for two nights, starting on 28th July; and everything was just perfect. We had a room overlooking the Kerry Mountains, which was absolutely fabulous!! Everything about this hotel is wonderful, and I would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for somewhere romantic. Indeed, if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet, then this is the place

At the reception, Natalie was very helpful, as was Andrew; and we felt VERY welcome. Breakfast was one of the highlights, and the dining room was absolutely fabulous, as was the service!! This is four-star-service at it's best...

Our room in this hotel was large and with good modern facilities. The hotel is a much refurbished old house that is in reality a large modern hotel capable of satisfying the large numbers of American guests who stay there. It is also one of the few hotels in Kilarney (or Ireland) that allow dogs to stay, which makes it doubly welcome. The dog friendly room we were given was on the ground floor and very convenient for the entrance/exit and away from most of the other guests, and suited us perfectly. It was spotlessly clean with no evidence of any dog ever having stayed there. The restaurant staff were good too in providing big doggy bags for the mutt after breakfast.

The breakfast was very good with full Irish breakfasts available, as well as kippers, grilled fish, french toast, maple syrup & pancakes etc.

The only slight drawback is the 5 minute walk into the main bit of town for the bars & restaurants in the evening, although that was a pleasant and short walk whenever the rain stopped, it was less agreeable in the wind & rain.

Overall, a good well run hotel with modern 4 star facilities up to US standards. A great find if you are travelling with your dog.

Reception, bar and sitting room all very nice and relaxing spaces. Dining room is lacking character and lacking a view. Pity the dining room wasn't on same level as reception. Breakfast and dinner were adequate and staff were pleasant.
Room was noisy and situated beside a lift. Room was very hot. When I called reception about this. They said to turn it off, however this made no difference.
The swimming pool was nice and quiet with a friendly staff member, just one thing though, the pool was far too warm.
Overall we did not feel that our stay matched up to the rave reviews on trip advisor.
On check in we were made feel like a number, not guests!

Room Tip: Pay the 20 extra surcharge

I love this hotel. Its quaint and old country manor styling is lovely and unlike others of its kind it is imaculately clean and fresh. The food is of an excellent standard. Worth eating in the restaurant here if you are staying. There is a pool but it is small. I wouldnt pick this place if having a nice pool is important to you. The bar is small but cosy, although they did add on some sort of extension to the bar in recent times which feels a bit like an old conservatory but all in all it didn't loose its original charm in the older part of the bar. I would recomment this hotel to couples or families with babies but not families with children who require entertaining.

Just spent 2 lovely nights in the Randles Court Hotel. The hotel is is lovely, very relaxing and some lovely old furniture and decor. We had a deluxe room which was lovely and spacious and had mountian views.

We enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the bar and having some drinks. There is also a lovely sitting room just off reception where you can sit and relax and read the paper. There is free wifi throughout the hotel which is great.

We leisure area around the pool is probably in need of an update, it's not really at the same level as the rest of the hotel.

Breakfast is lovely though, the room is beautiful and very classy. There is a small buffet of cereal and fruit and a varied list for hot food from full cooked breakfast, to fish, pancakes and french toast.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a deluxe room, the rooms a spacious and bright and have views to the mountains.
