From the outside, this looks like those awesome coffee and teahouses with baked goods and sandwiches that you find throughout all sorts of small towns and cities in Ireland (and in Europe). Wish we had more of these at home, I love them. Way better than a S'bux (of which I am a fan), b/c the baked goods are homemade and portions are generous. As you can see, I am a fan of these. BUT, the Lir is mediocre. Baked goods are fair, lattes a bit week. Cramped. More concerned with looks than with taste. Don't bother. OH and don't be taken in by the chocolates sign--I was thinking there would be alllllll sorts of chocolatey baked goods--nope, they just sell bon bons, too. If their baked goods are any indicator, don't waste your money.
