A luxurious yet intimate bar area welcomed us on arrival so we took advantage of the pleasant atmosphere to peruse the menu over a gin & tonic, the menu offers a varied selection without being too large yet choosing for us was still difficult as we liked the sound of everything but soon made the decision and finished our drinks before being shown to our table.
With our wine opened an amuse bouche arrived which got our taste buds going followed by our starters along with some very tasty hot breads, we had the rabbit and the salmon both of which were artfully presented with flavours to match, then came a sorbet to freshen the pallet and soon after our mains the monkfish and the beef, again the presentation was fabulous as were the flavours, at this point our main topic of conversation was the food we loved every bit of it and looked forward to seeing the desert menu, this time we both chose the chocolate tart which was delightful, smooth, rich, dark and a joy to see.
To sum up the food is exceptional, artfully presented and full of flavour the staff are very knowledgeable, polite and helpful, plus being in beautiful relaxing surroundings make ‘West End House’ a restaurant I would not only happily but very highly recommend.

This is easily one of the best places to eat in all of Killarney, if not all of Ireland. Great food and great atmosphere. Came at 630pm so had the "early-bird" menu which was 3 courses of extremely well-plated, fantastic food. Highly recommend the steak which was just a dream, very lean and yummy. Ice cream dessert was also a great choice. Would definitely come back to have steak again or some of the other awesome looking food on the menu!

Had a reservation for 9pm, but didnt get seated at our table until 10pm. Felt this was far too long to be waiting with a reservation. We didnt get our main course until 10.45pm. While the food was good, staff were polite and the place itself was very nice.... we were disappointed that we had to wait so long and our meal ran so late.

Myself and my boyfriend went for dinner here last night and we have to say that the food and the service was great. All the staff were very present and friendly. As for the food it was second to none and we taught it was reasonable priced :-)

Went here last night with my partner and friends, had the most unbelievable meal ever. First of all the staff were very attentive, offering us drinks while we looked through the menu, then shown through to our table when the food was ready. From the very first mouthful to the last it was delicious. All the dishes were artwork on a plate,so beautifully presented, even the amuse bouche and the sorbet courses. The whole atmosphere was so friendly, calm and we were not rushed in any way.we all chose different at each course and all savoured each and every mouthful, even the bread was presented so beautifully in a 'sack' with warming stones to keep it lovely and warm and delicious.
Would recommend this little gem of a restaurant to everyone. Our whole experience was out of this world and one we'll remember for a very long time. My advise to anyone thinking of booking here is....get on the phone now!! You definitely won't regret it.
