We really enjoyed our tour of the Muckross Estate and farms. We spent more hours than we had planned because we found it all so interesting. We walked to the estate through the national park and took a pony and trap ride back to our hotel on the edge of town. The driver was very informative so we were very glad we made that decision. There are beautiful woven scarves and other items made on the premises to purchase both at the manor house and at the gift shop near the restaurant. If you are visiting Killarney, don't miss out on this experience.

This was one of the highlights of the trip. Everything was so beautiful and our jaunty driver was a wealth of information and great fun. Don't miss this beautiful place.

One of the best times in Ireland was taking a walk in the country in a nice, safe environment. Loved the old world charm of the farms as my daughter and I had lovely conversations strolling through the countryside.

Tea and scones were excellent value. We had added bonus of dry weather which allowed us to eat our scones at the tables outside the restaurant - a rare treat in October.
