“Try the Pork Belly”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

The owner of Mystical Rose B&B recommended Kayne’s Bistro as a place we must eat at while in Killarney, she also recommended the Pork Belly with Cracklings Entrée. I did order the Pork Belly (as unattractive as it sounds) and was pleasantly surprised by not only the presentation but the out of this world taste. What you get is Rib Belly out to the Crackling Skin; it is very lean and indescribably delicious. I can’t remember anything else about the meal but this entrée. The service was polite and efficient. Note this Bistro is not in the City of Killarney, but just outside on the Muckross Road.

“Great food..a little slow when busy”
Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

We ate a lunch and dinner at this hotel during our stay in Killarney. The lunch was wonderful and the servers were excellent. Our dinner was also excellent, however they were much busier and the service was much slower. Overall, a great little bistro, however I would recommend it more highly for lunch for better service.

“Great meal”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

We had a great meal at this bistro. They were very attentive and all the meals served to our group were fast and delicious. I was very happy with child's menu that had lots of options like chicken, potatoes, and vegetables versus fried fish or chicken and fries/chips.

“Not a "Traditional" Irish Pub, but Great Value”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Kayne's was close to ourt B&B, but we had stopped there on a previous visit. Not a "traditional" Irish pub with all the dark wood and Victorian architecture, but a great place to enjoy a pint (try Creans) and good food. Staff was very good, service was good, and most importantly, food was good. A great place to stop after a vsiti to Muckross or the Nationa Park.
