“Cute Bartenders”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

My friends and I ended up at Danny Mann because of a man on the street with a sign. They had live music, a fun vibe and cute men tending the bar. See Paul for a good time.

“Worst experience in a long long time....were do i start?”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

I am so reluctant to give a terrible review, because i understand the odd mistake can be made, but this place is no mistake, its obvious that its all about getting the tourist euro.

The restaurant is filthy, and somewhat tired, dust and grime everywhere. Our table, and the others near us, had food scrapes on them, and on the floor, and the restaurant was virtually empty...no excuse! The waiter in his fifties looked like he had slept in his clothes, then got dragged through a hedge.

The food was poor quality......
the burger, wasnt fresh, seemed as though precooked, and reheated, and was served on a long life burger bun off the shelf ..... the menu said, fresh mince steak burger on toasted floury bap....FAIL
The panini was less of a disappointment but still failed to deliver what was on the menu- got refrigerated chicken pieces in BBQ sauce, with a few pieces of brown lettuce for a garnish....the menu menu said, tender chicken in tomato and herb ragout....FAIL.
Our drinks, no ice, in dirty glasses....triple FAIL
Think the managers motto must be SLAP DASH, GIVE US YOUR CASH

all round terrible experience, wish we had checked the dates on the food awards displayed in the front of the building.... all over 10 years old!!!!! This makes sense, no passion no heart and no soul, the Danny man has grown very tired and old

“Best Irish Bar in Killarney”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

If you want to visit an authentic Irish bar complete with live entertainment be sure to stop at the Danny Mann at the Best Western. We visited every single night of our three day stay. Staff was professional and even offered great tips for places to visit. Con, at the bar, suggested visiting Valentia island which proved to be a winner. Food, which included breakfast, lunch and dinner, was excellent too. Unlike some other local Killarney pubs which were very small and spaces tight, this place is big with plenty of room at tables or around the bar. Try their local beer, Creans, which is brewed in Dingle.

“Funnest pub ever!”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

This place is a must see if you're ever visiting Killarney. Super fun, Paul the bartender was as nice as they come. Very personable and just a good fella. We can't wait to go back. Also, the fantastic music too, the guy in the band was so good. Check it out and say hi to Paul. Thanks for a good time.
