My wife and I stayed at the Larkinley Lodge for two great night and couldn't have been happier. First off, while the location is on a slightly busy road, it is an awesome location being just minutes from the main shops, restaurants, and pubs of the great town of Killarney. The room, B&B, amenities, and breakfast were all great, but the hosts Toni & Danny really were the icing on top on top and make the stay extra enjoyable. They were helpful and acted like family when needed, booking a tour, recommending a good pub, and organizing a day of self touring around the park. When you from out of town, getting extra insight into driving, hiking, walking around makes all the difference!

Larkinley is beautiful, comfortable, located at exactly the right distance from "downtown," and run by two wonderful people, Toni and Danny. It would be a standout anywhere due to Toni's friendliness and warmth, and the tip-top condition of the B&B, but when combined with the couple-minute walk to the restaurants, pubs and shops, it's a must-stay. We were there two nights, and would roll in tired from exploring the area (Toni was full of great advice), or ready for sleep after eating and exploring downtown in the evening, and we'd be greeted by tea in the comfy sitting room/breakfast room, or a cheerful "Good night." We got great advice on sights and tours (most locals, Toni included, rated Dingle above the Ring of Kerry, for example, and it didn't disappoint), pubs (where to find Trad music -- the Grand), and directions. Danny even helped us by getting our car turned around in the typically small front parking area.

Room Tip: The front rooms face Lewis Road and might get some traffic noise. We were in the back, which was very quiet.

We stayed here for one night in August 2013 while touring Killarney. Toni was the perfect hostess, greeting us warmly and readily shared ideas for touring the area. Our room was on the first floor and it was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was new and more hotel-like than B&B. The first floor lounge was a great place to relax and have afternoon tea while the rest of our family napped. Toni was so friendly and welcoming we felt very much at home. A great location to walk to town for shopping, dining, pubbing; yet quiet and comfortable for sleeping. Breakfast the next day was very good; we highly recommend the eggs with potato waffles.

Room Tip: Rooms (and bathrooms) were very high quality, comfortable and immaculate. Toni was great!

We stayed in Larkinley Lodge Killarney in late August 2013. Unfortunately we only booked 1 night and were so impressed that we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Toni and Danny were marvelous hosts and were very welcoming, we felt at home straight away. Food was excellent and the accommodation was superb, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The accommodation is about 7 mins. walk from the centre of town and is very accessable. Toni gave us great advice on where to eat and what to see etc. and she couldn't be more helpful in trying to make our stay a very pleasant experience. I have no hesitation in recommending this B@B to anyone who wants comfort great hospitality and a really lovely place to stay in Killarney. Mary and Deirdre.Try

Room Tip: Try and look for a room at the back of the house or one that does not look out on the street, as it would be less noisy at night time.

Stayed here at the beginning of July 13 and really enjoyed our stay in Killarney. Larkinley Lodge is of excellent quality, a great base, really central, but still quiet enough for a good night's rest. The beds and rooms were of a very high standard, similarly so for the bathroom and shower. Breakfast was very good. The atmosphere and decor were also of superior quality. Don't really want to go on about it too much because this and many similar reviews mean it's likely to be booked up next time we're down in Killarney and we'd rather stay there than somewhere else....but the owners are really very nice, very hospitable and deserve all the good reviews. We were recommended to Larkinley Lodge by word of mouth and we're certainly happy we stayed there. When we're down in Killarney again, that's where we'll look to stay. Ronan and Julie
