We came here on a Monday night for dinner. Great staff, awesome atmosphere, fantastic food. We were about to eat when we were surprised with an impromptu performance by a Philadelphia bagpipe band - amazing! After this, an Irish band played every irish song we requested. If you're in Killarney, pop into murphys bar one night. It's good craic!

We enjoyed the music and the friendliness. Great fun, and I had never closed a bar before! A first for me.

After touring much of Ireland I have to give highest regards to Murphy's Bar, Killarney. Only minutes after walking in a traditional music session started and so did the fun. The bar filled up fast and soon patrons were dancing, singing and downing pints. Kay, our waitress, made sure my glass stayed full and served up the most delicious classic Irish meals that we had to date. If you go to Killarney make sure to stop, if only for a pint, but stay for the music and food too!

The Irish stew was exceptional and the Smithwick's was cold! Could watch golf from the US after dinner!
