Dined on a busy Saturday night in August. The meal was fantastic - delicious food, good wine, great service. The restaurant is upstairs and had a good buzz. I deducted one star because despite having a reservation our table wasn't ready until over half an hour later. It wasn't too bad as they suggested we go to the pub downstairs to wait but if you book a table it should be ready at (or pretty close) to the time you booked it for. Having said that the food was definitely worth the wait.

Enjoyed a superb meal at Lord Kenmare last night! Food & service just excellent. Worth every €. Need to bring out a cookbook for those home made delights. Looking forward to our return trip!

We were celebrating our anniversary in Killarney and wanted a special meal. We had eaten in the pub downstairs during the summer and had enjoyed it so decided that this would be a great choice. It was amazing! The service was friendly and professional. The rack of lamb was the best I've had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The prices were in line with the quality and service. A surprise dessert arrived for our anniversary. So pretty that I took a picture. Really can't wait to go back!

This was the nicest restaurant we ate at in Killarney. Kathleen and Marie were lovely! Chowder was not on the menu but the chef made it for me. It was great! We were there twice because one of our group loved the Dover Sole so much he wanted to go back for seconds. It's more expensive than most of the restaurants we went to, but it was very good!

We were looking to eat somewhere on a Sunday night in Killarney with traditional irish music. Our request we thought would be difficult to meet. We sought the advice of the concierge at the hotel who made a recommendation. Well what a surprise, Killarney was full of life, you would have thought it was a Saturday. There was music coming from every corner of the town. We ate at The Lord Kenmares, the food was excellent, the staff outstanding, they could not do enough for us. We then went downstairs to the pub where a group of young irish musicians were playing traditional music. It was difficult to get a seat at first because obviously the place s popular. There were lots of nationalities enjoying the music, but it was nice to see locals as well, that is always good recommendation when local folk use the same place.

Killarney is the home of Irish music, so be sure not to miss it on a trip.
