We were staying at the conjoined International Hotel and initially dismissed the staff's restaurant recommendation as potentially biased; however, after walking a bit through the town centre we didn't find anything that appealed to us more, so we returned. At 6:00 p.m. mid-week the place was nearly deserted, but by the time we returned at 7:30, the place was packed and we had to wait a half hour for a table. This was okay, because the adjacent bar offers a great pub atmosphere and a tasty pint. For dinner, I had the pan-seared salmon, which was perfectly seasoned, moist and flaky. My wife ordered the grilled sirloin steak, which was delicious and as tender as a filet. The prices are not cheap, but are commensurate with other restaurants in Ireland, and you will get a fresh, delicious meal and overall satisfying dining experience. We heartily recommend this place!
