We stayed here for two nights during a week long trip in Ireland. The receptionist was welcoming and helped us to consider places to visit during our stay. She suggested 'Kylemore Abbey' which was about an hours drive and well worth the visit!

The hotel is well presented, with clean, spacious and modern rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was clean, no faults with the room at all really.

We used the pool at the hotel which was pleasant, and like the rest of the hotel it was clean and well maintained. You do need to wear a swimming cap though, which cost 3 Euros from the hotel, unless you have your own.

We had a couple of cocktails at the hotel bar one evening, which took a while to make and were OK but nothing special.

Location was probably the weakest part, but we knew this when we booked. The hotel is next to an industrial park, so it isn't scenic, but it does have a shopping area right next door where there is a brilliant bakery where we had breakfast for a very reasonable price (about 10 Euros for both of us) - I think it was called Griffiths bakery.

All in all, a comfortable, clean, good value hotel and a good stop over if travelling through the area.

We stayed for a weekend in the hotel. Great food and exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered were extremely helpful, chatty and wanted to ensure that you were looked after. We ate both nights in the hotel, one in the restaurant and the other in the bar and on both occasions the food was very good. It is a busy hotel and on both evenings had functions but this did not interfere or disrupt our stay. We will return again to this hotel.

Very nice hotel, rooms are great, staff are really friendly and the food is tasty. Would recommend as a place to stay. It is not that far from the city and beside the racecourse. The bar menu is very reasonable considering the quality is top class. I was part of a large group (up to 40), everybody enjoyed the stay and said they would return if in the area again 10 out of 10.

Not much to do or see in the hotel surrounds but handy location if you are en route. Galway is a short drive away. Really nice spacious modern room, very comfortable rooms, floor to ceiling windows with blackout blinds which meant everyone had great sleep. Breakfast was a bit manic with not much left in buffet but we warned via a poster in the lift that 10 - 11am was the busy period. I would stay here again.

Stayed here on a hen party in April, there were a few hens party's and a wedding at the same time . It's a big and busy hotel with no Irish welcome, rooms were nice and dinner was good. It's a great location for anybody looking to stay for the Galway races . Nice hotel just not very personal .
