The Hostel is completely new. The rooms (4 & 6 bed rooms) are really big (for example the 4 bed room would be at least a 6 bed room in nearly any other hostel). Every room is with private bathroom which are also really big and clean; only problem one sort of floods half the bathroom when one takes a shower because there is no curtain, but I'm sure that's gonna change pretty soon. There's a hair dryer in each room. Each bed has 2 usb plugs and two normal (irish) plugs and a light.
Beautiful design and a huge common room with tv, computers, several sofas. A brand new kitchen which is quite good now that the hostel isn't completely full but it's definitely to small for the high season, but hopefully they will extend it until then and maybe introduce a system for depositing and labelling your food for a better overview.
Good (usual) breakfast with tea coffee and juices included and a slightly too hot burning toaster (tip there's another one in the kitchen which works better ;) ) until 11 am (yeah really!!). And best, you don't even have to wash your dishes (but only after breakfast)
The location couldn't be better - in the city center but quiet and save. Not to far from the coach station and the shopping street and harbour/river/bay.
The staff is super friendly and helpful no matter which problem you have. And there is a 24 hour attendance.
Check out is also 11 am but you can leave your luggage at the hostel AND use the common room the whole day!
