Sorry this is a little late better late than never though. What a wonderful place this is Mary and Tom are amazing. Our room had the biggest most comfortable bed, great nights sleep followed by pancakes, blueberries, strawberries and Toms honey delicious. Mary is an incredible hostess who takes time for everyone. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful B&B with outstanding breakfast, clean, clean rooms and Mary's warm Irish hospitality. The dining room is beautifully set and the selection of breakfast items is unbelievable. The location is just a few steps from the promenade along Galway Bay and an easy walk to many pubs and eating places. Also you can catch the bus on the corner which will take you into the shopping district. You can't go wrong with this B&B.

We were looking for somewhere convenient to stay before catching the ferry at Rossaveel. This was located on the edge of Galway and only about a 30-minute drive from the ferry, making it convenient. Marless House is located just off of the promenade along the Bay which provided us an interesting walk to dinner. Everything in our room was spotless and well maintained; however, bathroom was extremely small--something I am willing to overlook given the price of the room. Service was very friendly. We got all our questions about the ferry answered and a good dinner recommendation. Breakfast included a buffet with fruit and breads bad several hot choices with Mary offering to mix and match anything on the menu. Best value room of the trip!

Marless House is a cozy, homey place with warmth and good food. The home is clean and comfortable because of innkeeper, Mary, who makes her guests feel welcome and at home. The breakfast is outstanding. I had a lovely room with a beautiful view of the garden. The place is close to all the attractions of Galway. I enjoyed my stay there very much!

When planning a vacation to the area of Galway don't get a hotel but spend time here at Marless House and I promise you will sleep and be treated better than any hotel can take care of you. Mr. and Mrs. Geraghty will treat you as if you are family and by the time you leave you will have them on your Christmas Card List. The nuts and bolts of what you may be looking for in a B&B are all here. The shower is easy to understand and the hot water seems to go forever and breakfast is actually a menu that has everything from lox to pancakes, eggs, bacon, things that take a few minutes to items that could be a while but between Tom and Mary I don't think we ever waited more than ten minutes. The rooms are spotless! Just spotless. When I popped in to let the housekeeper know we were leaving she was busy wiping down the headboard and didn't have her shoes on but had them outside of the door. Everything to help keep the room clean. There is free internet, maps and directions are just a matter of asking, there is free parking which is tight but that is par for the area, and a secured entrance but both Mr. and Mrs. Geherty are there and at all times one is there. When we left it felt like leaving family and a warm friendship has been made.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great but if you have a preference just send an email and they are stellar at g...

Mu husband and I as well as three others traveling with us all stayed here for two nights. The accomodations were great. But the real reason we would recommend staying here is the hostess--Mary. She could not have been more welcoming to us. We arrived early in the day before check-in time, and she welcomed us with tea and scones, which we thoroughly enjoyed. She gave us a map showing how best to get to Galway center, giving recommendations along the way. Her breakfasts are unbelieveable the selections and portions tremendous, and her personality just shines. Both Mary and her husband Tom have great stories to share and helpful tips. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Marless House was wonderful. We arrived early and Mary had our cheerful, airy room ready for us. The house was lovingly built by Mary's husband, Tom who is a meticulous craftsman. Breakfasts were delicious and Mary would mix and match the menus, however her guests wanted them. Mary is a wonderful hostess who wants her guests to feel at home. She has several tables for two or four in the diningroom and one large table for eight. Sit at the large table and you will make new friends. This pleases Mary to no end.
The house is close to the Promenade, a lively beach scene on a Sunday afternoon. It is about a forty minute walk into Galway city or a quick bus ride. Walking the streets of Galway is a great way to spend an afternoon and evening. We highly recommend Marless House on a visit to Galway.
