August 2006 my friends and I had the pleasure of staying at the Seashore Lodge Salthill for three nights while visiting Galway for the races. For our stay we paid €60 per person per night, which was reasonable compared to other B&B and hotels in the area for race week. We found the Seashore lodge was in a beautifully location situated overlooking the beach. Upon our arrival the proprietor Noreen Costello warmly greeted us and offered refreshments. We found our room very comfortable and clean with modern en suite, TV and tea/coffee faculties. For breakfast we had a full Irish fry up which was excellent. I must give a special mention to the homemade soda bread, which was out of this WORLD!!!! Our party found Noreen very helpful and polite often ordering us Taxi’s and offering us advice about the area.
We came a guest and left as Friends!!!
